SOLAR WATER HEATER The solar water heater absorbs light by means of a collector placed on the roof and converts it into heat. It passes this heat to a water tank by means of a circulating pump. This exchange is triggered by the thermal regulator, but only when the collector is hotter than the water in the tank. This prevents the circulating pumps using electricity needlessly. Conversely, it also prevents overheating. When there is insucient sunlight, the water is preheated and a back-up system takes over to bring the water to the required temperature
SOLAR STREET LIGHTS The solar street lighting system is an ideal outdoor lighting system for Roads, Yards, Residential Colonies, Townships, Corporate Oces, Hospitals, Educational Institutions & Rural Electrification. A typical Stand alone street Lighting System comprises of a solar PV module for charging the battery, Deep cycle tubular plate battery for storage, Suitable electronics for the operation of the lamp & safe charging & discharging of the battery. Both the charge controller & inverter is fitted inside the luminary, to avoid tampering & to ensure trouble-free operation
SOLAR LANTERN A portable, complete, ready-to-use light. It is housed in a plastic ABS body and has an in build sealed maintenance free (SMF) lead-acid battery, which is charged by solar module. The lantern is fitted with 7-watt compact fluorescent lamp or 3 watts LED. The CFL provides light output (52 lumens per watt) equivalent to that of a 40 watt (9 lumens per watt) bulb and LED provides a light output of 110 lumens per watt. The solar lantern has a build in a detachable electronic circuit having inverter & charge controller.
SOLAR AIR DRYER A solar dryer in which solar energy collection and drying take place in separate units is known as a solar dryer. Air is heated in the flat-plate heater placed on the roof of the building or on the ground. Hot air from the air heater is circulated in the drying chamber with the help of a blower. These dryers can be designed in different sizes with various configurations, depending upon the temperature of hot air, airflow rate, types of products to be dried. The solar dryer is use for drying the seeds, fishes, dry fruits.
